Methods of Making a Request

Online Submission: 

If you would like to submit a request online, we offer an electronic form for your submission.  Please complete the following: Online Public Record Request.

Written Submission: 

If you would like to submit a request by mail, fax, or hand delivery, please download and complete the following request form: Public Records Request Form (PDF).

Other Submission Methods: 

  • Complete the Public Records Request Form and email it to the Public Records Officer at records@portoflongview.com 
  • Complete the Public Records Request Form and fax it to 360-425-8650, in attention to the Public Records Officer. 

Fees and Costs: 

The Port of Longview has adopted the charges set forth in RCW 42.56.120(2), as may be amended, as the fees and costs which may be charged for providing public records requested under the Public Records Act.  

  • 15 cents per page: Photocopies, printed copies of electronic records when requested, use of Port equipment to make copies
  • 10 cents per page: Scanned records, use of Port equipment for scanning
  • 5 cents per each 4 electronic files or attachments: Records transmitted in electronic format, uploaded to email, cloud-based data storage service or for the use of Port equipment to send records electronically
  • 10 cents per gigabyte: Records transmitted in electronic format or for the use of Port equipment to send records electronically
  • Actual costs: Digital storage or devices, any container or envelope used to mail copies, postage or delivery charges
  • Customized service charge: The actual cost will be the responsibility of the requester when the request would require the use of Information Technology expertise to prepare data compilations or when such customized access services are not used by the Port for other business purposes. The Port must notify the requester that it will be doing a customized service and can require a 10 percent deposit. 

Charges may be combined to the extent that more than one type of charge applies to copies produced in response to a request.
