PORT OF LONGVIEW RECOGNIZED BY STATE AUDITOR
Longview, Wash. – Port of Longview Commission President Walt Barham has been presented with a letter from the Washington State Auditor’s Office, commending the Port for 20 consecutive years of "clean audits" with no findings.
In his comments to the Board, Audit Manager Jasen McEathron referred to this as a "rare accomplishment" among public entities in the state.
The letter was presented at the Port’s regular Board meeting, which also happened to be the last meeting for out-going Commissioner Barham.
